How long does a shower remodel take?

Most shower remodels take between one and two weeks, depending on the size and materials. We’ll give you a detailed schedule based on your specific scope.

Can I replace my bathtub with a walk-in shower?

Yes. We handle tub-to-shower conversions regularly. We’ll remove the tub, adjust the plumbing, and build a walk-in shower that fits your layout and looks like it was always meant to be there.

Do you install prefabricated shower systems?

We focus on custom tile showers, but can install high-quality prebuilt shower systems if that’s the right fit for your project. We’ll walk through the pros and cons with you during planning.

Do I need to move out during the remodel?

No. We keep the work area contained and the rest of your home fully usable. You may be without a shower in that bathroom temporarily, but we’ll minimize downtime as much as possible.

What’s the difference between a shower remodel and a full bathroom remodel?

A shower remodel focuses only on rebuilding the shower area—walls, pan, glass, tile, and plumbing fixtures. A full bathroom remodel may include new flooring, lighting, vanity, toilet, and paint, along with the shower.

Meeting All Your Needs

Smarter Design Support

Choosing tile, fixtures, and layouts can feel overwhelming fast. We simplify the process by helping you select options that fit your style, your home, and your budget. We don’t push trends that won’t last. We give you real feedback based on experience and help you make decisions with confidence.

Our Process

What a Shower Remodel Includes?

1.On-Site Consultation

We start with a walkthrough of your existing shower setup. We look at size, layout, drainage, water pressure, wall condition, and ventilation. You tell us what’s not working, and we give you straight options based on the space and your goals.

2.Planning and Selections

You’ll choose tile, fixtures, glass, lighting, and any accessories. If you already have finishes picked out, we’ll build the plan around them. If not, we’ll help you make selections that look good and perform long-term.

3.Demolition and Cleanup

We remove the old shower, prep the walls and floors, and address any damage behind the scenes. This is where a lot of problems get discovered, and it’s why we don’t take chances with cheap cover-ups.

4.Plumbing and Drainage Adjustments

We make sure your new shower ties into your plumbing system safely and effectively. That includes slope correction, valve installation, and proper waterproofing of all connections.

5.Tile, Glass, and Fixture Installation

Once the structure is prepped, we install everything with precision. That includes base pans, wall tile, niches, doors, and hardware. Every seam is sealed. Every line is checked. No sloppy grout, no misaligned fixtures.

6.Final Review and Walkthrough

We go through every detail with you before calling the job done. Anything that needs adjustment gets handled fast, and the space is left spotless.

Types of Shower Remodels We Offer

Tub to Shower Conversions

One of the most common upgrades we do. If you’re not using your bathtub, we remove it and build a larger walk in shower that’s easier to access and easier to maintain.

Full Tile Showers

We build custom tile showers with full waterproofing systems and clean, sharp installation. Choose from classic subway, large format tile, mosaic inlays, or natural stone. You get a fully custom look that fits your bathroom.

Barrier Free Showers

Ideal for homeowners who want better accessibility, cleaner lines, or long term aging in place. We build walk in showers with low or no thresholds and proper slope for water control.

Compact Shower Builds

If you’re working with a small bathroom footprint, we help you get the most out of the available space. Smart layouts, sliding doors, and recessed storage help open things up and make daily use easier.

Luxury Shower Remodels

Looking for a high end finish? We build oversized showers with frameless glass, body sprays, double showerheads, floating benches, integrated lighting, and more. All built with quality and intention, not just style for show.

The kitchen came out exactly how I imagined — clean, modern, and functional — and the bathroom feels like something out of a high-end hotel. What really stood out was how transparent and responsive they were. I was always kept in the loop, and the schedule stayed on track from start to finish.

I’ve worked with other contractors before, and this was by far the best experience. ICO runs a tight, honest operation. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality remodeling work done the right way.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. ICO was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had! We recently hired them to remodel our gutted bathroom and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the jump they were professional and communicative and we really appreciated their expertise when designing our bathroom. The quality of the work is beautiful and was done quickly to boot! Any time we had any concerns they were two steps ahead and already working on addressing it. They are definitely the first contractors I will call for my next remodeling project.
